My Illustrations
I've heard may people say that creating a 'signature style' is important as a designer. I just couldn't see myself sticking to just one style and a certain technique though. Concerned about this theory, I went on a quest to create my own 'signature style'.
Sure, I have my old faithfuls. My black felt-tip pens and colourful splashes of ink on cartridge paper have never let me down, but I'm always curious to try different mediums on different surfaces and so I often discover new methods and mediums that work for me.
Many lino-prints, collages, ink drawings, digital illustrations and even combinations of the above later in the quest to find my 'signature style' I realised Id been creating it all along. I guess the best way to describe my illustrations overall, is mixed mediums and many things in between.
